Mata Kuliah Language AT Workplace (2 SKS)

Deskripsi Mata Kuliah :

Language at Workplace course is designed to equip individuals with the necessary language and communication skills to effectively communicate in a professional setting. The course covers a wide range of topics, including business vocabulary, email writing, presentations, meetings, negotiations, and customer service. The goal of this course is to help participants develop the confidence and competence to communicate effectively in English in a variety of business situations, thereby enhancing their employability and professional growth. The course is suitable for people with intermediate to advanced English language proficiency.

Capaian Mata Kuliah :

By the end of the course, students are expected to be able to:

● To enhance students English language proficiency in a professional context, including speaking, writing, and reading.

● To develop students ability to communicate effectively in a variety of professional situations, such as meetings, negotiations, and presentations.

● To teach students the appropriate tone, style, and format for business writing, including emails, reports, and other types of business documents.

● To improve students pronunciation and help them speak with clarity and confidence.

● To expand students professional vocabulary and help them understand and use industry-specific terms and expressions.

● To develop students presentation skills, including the use of visual aids and effective body language.

● To provide students with practical experience in applying the language skills they have learned in real-life scenarios.

● To foster critical thinking and problem-solving skills, as well as teamwork and collaboration skills.

● To help students understand the role language plays in the workplace and its impact on professional success
