Mata Kuliah Prose Appreciation (3 SKS)

Deskripsi Mata Kuliah :
The course examines classical and contemporary literary works and appreciates them for their readerly and writerly senses. It also examines the characteristics of good and bad literary works, as well as investigates those works in terms of their periods, authors, mileu, social background, political background and many other related issues in response to make more critical and applicable projects/works of literary appreciation and criticism
Capaian Mata Kuliah :

· Making more sense of the nature of prose and its subdivisions as well as its historical bacground

· Being able to apply some basic concepts of literary appreciation and criticism to relate them into their major studies of literary appreciation and criticism

· Having the ability to discern the knowledge of literary apprication and criticism and being able to apply them in their accounts to do literary appreciation and criticism

* Being responsible to disseminate the knowledge of literary appreciation and criticism in order to produce a critical work of appreciation as well as criticism
